Build for Unity

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming share.  Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me.  I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" (The New Colossus," by Emma Lazarus)

These words etched into the base of the Statue of Liberty greeted many of our ancestors as they came to America fleeing religious persecution, abject poverty, and flat-out bigotry. Our synagogues, our communities, our country, have benefited from generations of immigrants and refugees who dreamed of the America we are blessed to live in.
